KIMBLE® silicon cover protects precious samples on various laboratory utensils while adding a touch of color to your laboratory

The new KIMBLE® silicone cover stretches and fits to the top of the beaker to achieve a tight and safe seal. A new product from DWK Life Sciences, the world's largest manufacturer of precision laboratory equipment, the lid provides a safer closure and is easier to use. KIMBLE® silicone caps are available in three sizes and three bright colors (see video), and can be easily installed on beakers, flasks, bottles and cylinders. The elastic silicone material forms a seal on the nozzle, bead top or threaded neck on the glass or plastic container. The lid is heat-resistant and chemical-resistant, and is designed with a pull tab, so it is easy to put on or take off even with gloves. The dishwasher is safe and reusable, and the lid is a sustainable solution for environmentally conscious laboratories. Most importantly, the bright colors of the KIMBLE® silicon cover facilitate color coding and improve the overall appearance of a busy laboratory.

KIMBLE® silicon caps have a stretchable diameter; small caps have a diameter of 43 to 61 mm, medium caps have a diameter of 64 to 76 mm, and large caps have a diameter of 84 to 116 mm. Color options include pink, green and blue. The lid can easily accommodate most 50 mL beakers to 800 mL beakers. Silicon is resistant to most chemicals and is heat resistant in the usable temperature range of -40°C to 180°C. KIMBLE® silicon lids can be sold individually or in packs of three, each containing a small, medium and large size lid.
